FLARED SLOT PORTING: The slot port design gives way to a larger surface area for the port, which is important to help decrease port velocity. This also allows for a lower tuning frequency not typically seen in pre-made enclosures. To enhance upon this design, the port is internally flared to help even-out the transition of air from the box through the port.

CONE & SURROUND: The subwoofers used in this enclosure feature a high-gloss cone made from high-strength carbon composite with laminated pulp reinforcement. This cone is much sturdier than paper cones, allowing for more aggressive operation.

STANDING WAVE REDUCTION: To reduce the cancellation of sound caused by standing waves, Audiobahn has used geometric simulation design software to model the box with strategic angles. These angles reflect the sound within the box to provide optimal performance.
